Unborn Baby Inspires Adele to Write Happy Songs

Pregnancy has brought about remarkable changes not only in songstress Adele, but in her songs too.

Unlike earlier albums that dealt mostly with unrequited love and heartbreak, she has given a new theme to her latest album - happiness, inspired by her unborn baby and his/her dad.

"It will be lighter than her last ode to break-up. The pregnancy has had a big impact on her songwriting," sources close to the singer told Us Magazine. "She is lying low and focusing on becoming a mum. The baby is healthy and she's so excited."

This is not the first step adopted by the 24-year-old pop diva for her unborn baby. The expecting mom had even given up swearing earlier, to avoid its negative effects on her unborn baby.

"Adele loves a good swear but doesn't want the habit to be passed on to her unborn baby," a source close to the star told The Sun. "She's trying to cut back because she feels, like loads of mums, that babies are affected by what they can hear when in the womb."

Apart from these changes, pregnancy has brought Adele closer to British pop music singer Lily Allen, who is expecting her second child with husband Sam Cooper.

"Adele and Lily lost contact due to their busy schedules but, lately, they've grown closer again, saying they're pregnancy buddies. Lily's been giving Adele loads of advice," enetertainmentwise.com quoted a source telling Closer magazine.

This is the Grammy-award winner's first child with partner Simon Konecki. Adele's relationship with 36-year-old Konecki started last summer. Konecki has a 3-year-old daughter with his ex-wife, fashion stylist Clary Fisher.
