Actress Kate Hudson is also a mother of two and recently she said that she makes sure that she alienates her kids from her working life. She wants to make sure that her personal life is separate from her career in Hollywood. This is why it felt weird when she first brought her kids to the premiere of the animated film she is part of, "Kung Fu Panda 3."
The actress did an interview with Seth Meyers and talked about her experience taking her kids at the premiere, as reported by the Independent . "I'm kind of weird about taking my kids out like that ...I've kind of alienated them from that part of my life," the 36-year-old actress told the talk show host.
Hudson realized that it is going to be the first time that her children would see what her life is like with the media involved, as they have not seen that side of her at all. "I was like, 'Wow, they're going to see the attention for the first time. There was no way I was going to get through without Ryder, like he was my date," Hudson reacted. "He wanted to do all the interviews and stuff. It was pretty cute, he was super excited."
The actress grew up with famous Hollywood parents since her mother is Goldie Hawn and her dad is Bill Hudson. Both of them taught her to be grounded and the whole Hollywood lifestyle was not exactly part of her childhood, which is why she thought she would apply the same parenting style as her parents.
The mother of two also shared her experience being the voice of Mei Mei the panda on the animated film and she said it was so much fun, according to Popsugar. She said that her character made her think of her son, Ryder, who is now 12 years old.
