Claire Danes Shares How She Hangs Out With Her Son, Cyrus Michael

Claire Danes is a popular actress, but she's also known for the faces she makes on "Homeland." And now, it seems like not only fans of the show are familiar with her expressions.

As she walked the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, held last Saturday, the mom of Cyrus Michael Christopher, 3, commented on how she spends time with her son. "I just hang out with him and make dumb faces, which is what I do for a living anyway," Danes, told Giuliana Rancic of E! News.

The 36-year old actress, who revealed that she hasn't found the time to watch her own hit show or her husband, Hugh Dancy's "Hannibal," also revealed how they celebrated the third birthday of Cyrus.

"We took Cyrus to his first movie for his birthday in December, like a movie in the movie theater," she said. "We saw Peanuts and it was maybe my first movie that I saw in the theater since he was born."

However, according to People, Danes may be able to catch a break soon as the sixth season of her series will be filming in her hometown. In fact, the hands-on mom cannot wait to get back, saying, "I'm stoked. I get to go home to my own actual bed."

"Homeland" was nominated for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series and outstanding action performance by a stunt ensemble in a comedy or drama series. Danes, who was nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series for "Homeland," is now preparing for her role in "Dry Powder."

The play also stars Hank Azaria and "13 Hours" actor, John Krasinski. According to the actress, the play is a comedy and a social satire, which is far from "Homeland." "It will be fun," she said.
