Kris Jenner lashed out at President Barack Obama after he criticized Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for promoting materialistic lifestyle among youngsters.
The famous 57-year-old momager, on her "Kris" show on Friday, replied strongly to the President's remarks saying that her daughter was the "hardest-working young lady in the world." Whoa! Now that's too much praising to digest!
In a recent interview, Obama said that during his childhood, children did not monitor celebrities' lifestyles or where they went for vacations or what they bought, alluding to Kim and Kayne, or hold them up as ideal role models. "The American Dream involved some pretty basic stuff. A good job where you felt some security. A good education ... People felt if they worked hard they could get there ... I don't think people went around saying to themselves, 'I need to have a 10,000-square-foot (3048 square metre) house' ... I think, there has also been a shift in culture. We weren't exposed to the things we didn't have in the same way that kids these days are," he said, according to Daily Telegraph.
To this, Kris said that the American Dream could be more than just a good job. "I wasn't aware that you could only set the bar so high and that we could only dream so big. I was taught dream big, work hard and you can have whatever you wanted."
She further said that Kim's job affords her to live in a 10, 000 square foot house. "I bet the President has some friends with 10,000 square foot houses and you probably wouldn't mind going over there, Mr. President. While you were asking them to have a party for you when you were campaigning for dollars to run for president."
Kirs seemed to get a bit carried away in praising the 32-year-old reality star and her 36-year-old rapper boyfriend, "I find it so odd that he's picking on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Kanye West, first of all, doesn't go on vacation ever...and Kim Kardashian is the hardest working young lady in the world. She never sleeps, she never stops, she never slows down, and works so hard for what she's got."
