‘Game of Thrones’ Season Plot News, Announcements, And Updates: The Best Season For Sansa Stark Is Finally Happening

The 19-year-old actress Sophie Turner who played Sansa Stark claimed that the 6th season will be the best season for her character. She said that Sansa will finally get the respect that she deserved.

According to Independent, after the horrific incidents that happened to Sansa in the past seasons - not to mention her marriage with the psychotic Ramsey Bolton; Sansa will finally rise from all of the sufferings and fans of the series will be proud of her.

"It's probably her best season yet. It's her really coming into her own. She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it's really good." Turner said.

Turner also said in one of her interviews that fans will finally get the storyline of Sansa that they have been craving for in the past seasons. She said that this season is a big one for her character.

"It was amazing because the past five seasons, it feels like it's been building up and up to that. You can only suffer so much before she finally gets her, the respect that she deserves." Turner said.

Game of Thrones is known for its biggest shocks and cliffhangers every time an episode ends. Sources say that this upcoming season will be no different as showrunners build every character's storylines.

"I mean this season there's like so many shocks, it's massive. It's the biggest season yet. And just like in terms of character development, so many people's storylines, I'm so excited for. I'm so excited to see Alfie's one this season. It's going to be good." Turner said.

Viewers all know the love and hate relationship of Sansa and Theon Greyjoy in the past season. In the last episodes of season 5, Theon has been trying to save Sansa from the hands of Bolton but fear always overcomes him.

Game of Thrones season six is expected to premiere on HBO on the 24th of April 2016.
