‘Captain America’ Cast, News and Update: Film Director Anthony Russo Reveals Things about Spider-Man

As the release date of "Captain America: Civil War" is coming, many are wondering if fans would see Spiderman in the superhero movie. It has been said that that the fictional character will join Captain America and Ironman, finally, the film director Anthony Russo said things about the another persona of Peter Parker.

"No. We really can't comment on that," the 42-year-old said. "Part of making these movies is maintaining surprise so that everybody's excited and that's one we're going to make fans surprised," his brother Joe Russo added.

However, they said that Spiderman would be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to Comicbook. "I would also add, again, we're introducing this character in a Captain America movie," the film producer continued.

"We're bringing a character... we're bringing Spider-Man into the movie in that universe, now, in that specific tonal stylistic world," he explained. "It's a little more grounded and a little more hard-core contemporary. That was also coloring our choices a lot about the character on Spider-Man."

Meanwhile, the test screening of "Captain America: Civil War" "has been testing exceptionally well" with viewers, Screenrant reported. In fact, it was confirmed by different five sources, which proved that the news is true.

Hence, this just meant that the film about the feud between the alter egos of Steve Rogers and Tony Stark doesn't need a full revision. However, the staff and crew are now back on the set for the minimal changes and to continue the upcoming "Phase Three Opener."

This is just to add some more scenes for the MCU and not really to "fix problems" with the already taped footages. But, minor tweaks are also possible, which depends on the feedback of the test screening and the audience.

To recall, this already happened on "Avenger: Age of Ultron" when Loki was cut after the "test audiences" to avoid confusion. "Captain America: Civil War" it set to hit the theaters on May 6, 2016.
