‘Star Wars 8’ News and Update: Casts Hint Filming, Shoot About to Roll

It looks like the film will start rolling for the next installment of "Star Wars" as stars, like Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels and Daisy Ridley hinted the Episode 8 on their social media pages. The casts teased fans and viewers as they revealed that the scripts are done and they are ready for filming.

According to Star Wars News Net, it started by the 23-year-old English actress, who played the role of the mysterious Rey, when she shared a snap of flowers with an appreciation note from Kathleen Kennedy. It looked like the bouquet was accompanied with the script as it has a pile of paper with a written "VIII" in it; also, it was captioned with a hashtag, #VIII.

After, Anthony Daniels, as C-3PO, revealed on his Twitter account that he just read the script for "Star Wars 8." "Just read Ep VIII and thought I'd share the story with you because I know you can't wait to hear it too. You do want to hear it. Don't you?" the 69-year-old teased his followers.

Later, the film director Rian Johnson responded on his tweet by posting a photo of the droid. Furthermore, John Boyega as Finn almost confirmed the filming as he posted on his Snapchat that he's already training for his role.

Lastly, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia tweeted that she's in England together with her famous dog, which made the assumptions strong that they are already filming. To recall, the said country is the location of the "Star Wars" set.

Meanwhile, Lucasfilm has been undergoing a "fairly tight production schedule" as Johnson set the release of "Star Wars 8" on Dec. 15, 2007. Hence, this just means that the production of the film will start in no time, Screenrant reported.

It is, too, has been said that the shooting will start in Feb. 2016. However, since nobody behind "Star Wars 8" is confirming about the news, fans just assume that the upcoming sequel will be already in the works.
