Christina Aguilera News: Svelte-looking ‘Beautiful’ Singer Advises Women ‘Don’t Be Too Hard On Yourself’

Christina Aguilera is proving there is more to her than her phenomenal weight loss. "The Voice" judge has a lot of things to say on behalf of moms all over the world. The slimmed down Aguilera is mom to 8-year-old Max, her son with ex-husband Jordan Bratman, and 16-month-old Summer, Aguilera's daughter with fiance Matthew Rutler.

New York Daily News reports that Aguilera expressed in an interview with Women's Health, how much pressure women typically have. "We're expected to be pregnant, have the kids, breast-feed once we have the babies," Aguilera explained. "And we're expected to look amazing after baby, right? Keep our husbands and boyfriends interested - because we're supposed to get back to sexy and keep things exciting in the bedroom. There's such a long list."

This enables Xtina to share a profound sense of empathy with other women. "If someone has a baby, the first thing I'm like is, 'Okay, are you taking care of you,'" Xtina said.

Xtina finds fulfilment in being a mother, but balances it with living well as a person. "Having children is the ultimate joy, and I love my kids, but women have to find time to nurture themselves," Xtina advised.

Indeed Xtina is all about taking care of herself, not just as mom but also as a person. Inquisitr points out that Xtina has been dedicated to her work out, which includes yoga and even paintball guns. Her diet has also been healthy with such selections as avocado, lean chicken, fish, almonds and celery.

On the rare occasion when the busy mother and celebrity finds a time to spare, Aguilera unequivocally would spend those in the spa. “If I can plan some quality spa time, that is like my heaven,” Aguilera said earnestly. “A spa vacation that literally is not just a spa day, with a massage and maybe a bath, but a spa ‘experience’ is the ultimate.”

Aguilera has this one more nugget to give fellow women. “Don’t be too hard on yourself!” Aguilera emphasized. “I’m into enjoying life, being conscious and aware, but also breathing into yourself and owning what you got.”
