Chick-Fil-A Diet: This Diet Plan Suggests You To Eat Their Nuggets In Every Three Hours

A new diet meal plan called the Chick-Fil-A diet requires you to eat their grilled chicken nuggets in every three hours. The fast food chain suggests that this should be included in your healthy habit routine.

According to Action News Jax, this was a lifestyle tip that was printed on the take out bags of Chick-Fil-A. The tip recommends eating smaller meals like their grilled chicken nuggets in a short period of time. The bag also suggests exercising more to maintain your lifestyle balance.

This diet meal plan went viral after a sports writer tweeted a photo of the takeaway Chick-Fil-A bag on Twitter. Charlotte Kuhlman, a twitter user also wrote about this bag that says "OMG there's a Chick-Fil-A diet where you eat Chick-Fil-A nuggets every 3 hours. Sign me up."

INSIDE Edition claimed that having this in your regular diet routine could cost you a lot. With the calculation of these grilled chicken nuggets, a dieter would likely spend $700 a month for eating these nuggets.

This might be a good and fun alternative to the usual diet meal plans but the value of $700 a month for a diet meal plan is a bit pricey compared to just consuming fruits and vegetables. The 8 pack nuggets include 140 calories each with three grams of fat and 23 grams of protein at least.

Yahoo! also claimed that one dietitian-nutritionist named Lisa Moskovitz, CEO of New York Nutrition Group said that this diet is unbalanced and pretty much not needed. She said that the meal lacks a lot of nutrients and vitamins that spending $700 on this is a total waste of money.

"The diet itself is completely unnecessary and unbalanced," Moskovitz said. While it's low-calorie and high-protein, she points out that it's missing many other vital nutrients such as vitamins, fiber, healthy fats, and antioxidants.
