'Scream Queens' Season 2: Cast, News, Update: Chanel Oberlin Emma Roberts and 'American Horror Story' Co-Star Evan Peters Rekindle Relationship With A Kiss

The dramatic wait by "Scream Queens" fans for the announcement on the new killer in "Scream Queens" Season 2 has been momentarily distracted. News that Chanel Oberlin, Emma Roberts, has been spotted kissing "American Horror Story" co-star and former fiancé Evan Peters.

For starters, Roberts and Peters first got together in 2012 and became engaged in 2013. The couple called it quits mid-2015.

According to the Daily Mail, the Scream Queen and her "X-Men: Apocalypse" beau struggled through the challenges of their busy professional lives on FX's "American Horror Story" and their personal relationship the first time around. Roberts' Instagram post for Peter's birthday in January seems a clear sign that Roberts and Peters are giving their relationship another go.

If that is not sign enough, New York News Daily reports that Roberts and Peters were snapped sharing a kiss after they lunched at Mozza Pizzeria in LA. Peters was seen with his arm around Roberts a few times. A previous report by People said that Roberts and Peters spent the New Year with each other in Malibu.

In the meantime, news went around that "Scream Queens" will see Taylor Swift joining the Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis for Season 2. The Hollywood Life reported that an insider thinks Swift is going to give "Scream Queens" a go.

"Ryan Murphy really wants Taylor Swift to be a part of it," the source allegedly and exlusively told Hollywood Life. "And now that she has some time on her hands with no tour obligations, she is considering to take a part on the show. Ryan wants to write her a character so good that she has no reason to say No."

"Scream Queens" co-creator Ryan Murphy is supposedly a Taylor Swift fan and expressed this to The Hollywood Life in an earlier report. "I love Taylor Swift," Murphy said. "I go after Taylor Swift for everything that I do. I do have a great affection for her ... I would love to work with her. I actually called her people about her for this, but she had already booked a tour, and I said, just do one episode, but she couldn't even do that. But some day, because I'm a big fan."

Gossip Cop shares that a "Scream Queens" production insider exclusively confirmed to Gossip Cop that Swift is not at all joining "Scream Queens" Season 2 and that reports that have been saying otherwise are not true.

The Inquistr says that the actual air date for Season 2 is yet to be announced but it is said that Chanel Oberlin and the gang will be back for "Scream Queens" Season 2 this fall on FOX.
