Time-travelling adventure series "Legends of Tomorrow" is growing in strength. The superhero series stars "Dr. Who" actor Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, "Superman Returns" actor Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer and "Arrow" actress Caity Lotz as Sara Lance.
The main "Legends of Tomorrow" band is rounded up by "The Flash" actors Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl, Dominic Purcell as Heatwave and Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold. "Legends of Tomorrow" will bring in a few more characters into Season 1.
iO9 reports that, based on teasers on DC's Instagram, "Legends of Tomorrow" will see a few old-time heroes in the show. Drug-boosted vigilante Hourman, gas-masked and sleep gun-wielding Sandman, and the first Red Tornado Ma Hunkel with her kitchen pot will be worked into the episodes of the series. World War II military hero Sgt. Rock will also be seen in "Legends of Tomorrow."
According to Den of Geek, a 2046 version of Green Arrow with a goatee and an arm missing and played by "Arrow" actor Stephen Amell will also make his way into "Legends of Tomorrow." As reported on ComingSoon.net, the show's executive producer Marc Guggenheim laid out the plan.
"Every once and a while, we do an episode where the 10-year-old me has to pinch himself," Guggenheim said. "We're not only introducing our version of Connor Hawke to our universe, we're going to meet the 2046 version of Oliver Queen, and Stephen Amell is going to be reprising his role from Arrow."
"As an added bonus to comic-book fans, Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character's appearance in the seminal Dark Knight Returns," Guggenheim remarked further. "We think this episode features some of the coolest things we've ever done."

Den of Geek also reports that "Quarantine" actor Johnathon Schaech will play Jonah Hex. Gunfighter Hex may debut into "Legends of Tomorrow" on episode 11. All the superhero reunions will, of course, be to defeat the ultimate villain Vandal Savage played by Casper Crump.
"Legends Of Tomorrow" began airing in the U.S. on January 21. It will premiere in the U.K. on March 3.
