Kate Middleton To Give First TV Interview After Five Years; Her Thoughts About The Queen Will Be Shared And Her New Duties In the Royal Family

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton will once again grace the cameras on her first solo interview since her engagement announcement back in November of 2010. This time, she will do it for a documentary that highlights the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.

It has been half a decade, since Middleton last faced the cameras for a television interview and it was on Nov. 16, 2010 when she and Prince William told the whole world that they were about to get married. Sky News did the interview of the then engaged couple, as they both revealed details of their wedding and their relationship. TV broadcaster Tom Brandby led the couple's interview during that time.

Five years after that, her face will be seen again on TV because a documentary dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II called "The Queen At Ninety" has been produced and it will be televised on the Spring of this year. According to Parade.com, viewers will also see other senior members of the royal family on this project including Prince William.

Queen Elizabeth will be appointing some duties to younger members of the monarchy and Middleton will be assigned to be the sports patron leading the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, which the Queen used to manage for 64 years.

Middleton, 33, will pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II and her accomplishments as the longest reigning ruler of Great Britain. The whole project is in line with the Queen's 90th birthday on April 21 and it also coincides with another national event known as the Royal Windsor Horse Show. The film will capture every detail of the program, as Ant and Dec from Britain's Got Talent will host the show.

The Daily Mail wrote that this documentary would be aired via ITV under the supervision of Jo Clinton-Davis and the production headed by Nick Kent.

The Queen's birthday will be horse-theme event according to Yahoo News and it will be held at the Windsor Castle's private grounds.
