DC Dominating Superhero-Themed Movies This 2016 Than Marvel

The emergence of superhero movies continues, but it looks like DC is now getting the crown from Marvel for doing film adaptations. This 2016, the initial publishing company has three movies set to be released, which are evidently making waves and a talk-about.

Cinema Blend reported, DC and Warner Brothers are on the good spot with their "Justice League" setup film, "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" and the much-awaited, group of antiheroes, "Suicide Squad."

According to the Digital Audience Ratings (DAR) from the Variety, DC's superhero movies are making noise on different social media pages, which left an impression that they are moving ahead of their competitors.

"Among the slew of comic book films set for release in 2016, including new "Captain America" and "X-Men" adaptations, early social and digital tracking places "Suicide Squad" and "Batman v Superman" 500% stronger than competitors based on standing at the same point pre-release," the statement read.

The movie composed of The Joker, Harley Quinn and Deadshot is currently in the number one spot on the DAR list while the Batman and Superman film is at number four. The only Marvel film on the roll is Ryan Reynold's "Deadpool" at number three and unfortunately, the collaboration of Captain America and Ironman didn't make it on the chart.

Cheat Sheet added that social media has a big influence in introducing and making movies be known. But, clearly, Marvel is no longer reigning on that field.

The said studio is continuously operating "virtually unopposed" for the last seven years until now. DC fist concentrated on the "Dark Knight Trilogy" of Christopher Nolan from 2002 and also, its own television universe on CW.

Additionally, they tried to get up from the fall of "X-Men" franchise's "The Last Stand" and the "Wolverine" with the help of "Days of Future Past." Hence, Marvel first dominated the box office, which unfortunately, might come to an end.
