And all these benefits you wish your kids could enjoy if you're able to take them out and jog with you.

Well, don't fret as MSN Lifestyle shares the following 5 guides to make your kids jog with you:

1. Talk to your Kids about the Benefits of Jogging

Invite your kids to do this activity with you and discuss to them its helpful benefits. Explain to them that jogging is for everyone at any age. The moment they reach the age of seven or eight years old, it's time to foster jogging with them just so you help them acquire the habit.

2. Make it an Unstructured Activity

Most kids run or jog for fun. Don't take it seriously jogging with your kids. At times, your kids will stop jogging and check out some worms or insects on the ground or they might window shop. Allow them to do what they like so that they will enjoy jogging with you and ready for the next jog again.

3. Have the Properly Gear Out

Provide your children with proper gears such as shoes for jogging, appropriate clothing for jogging that would make them comfortable. Let them have a water bottle to keep them quench their thirst while jogging.

4. Don't Make Them Physically Uncomfortable

If your children were tired jogging, stopped for a while and rest. Don't push them so much that they wouldn't like to jog anymore with you ever again..

5. Motivate Them by Setting Goals

To keep your kids more interested jogging with you, prepare the tools such as charts that show their record on distances, times and heart rates. Use stamps, emoticons, stickers or some online tools. By sharing to them their records, they would realize that jogging regularly can make them better at it.
