A range of consumer products were recalled due to possible shock hazards, a source told Philly.
Among these products were approximately 40,000 IKEA beds that may have a potentially faulty guardrail. According to Philly, these beds were recalled because "the metal rod connecting the guard rail to the bed frame can break" and this may lead to a laceration hazard.
There has already been one report from the United States and another report from Canada about metal rods breaking which immediately caused an alarm among other IKEA bed users, a source told Philly.
According to Philly, two models of Char-Broil Gas Patio Bistro grills including the 240 full-size grill and 180 table-top grill are also being recalled because the electronic ignition on the grill can ignite without any warning posing a burning hazard.
As of late, there have already been 26 reports of the burner flame going out unexpectedly so 69,300 units in the US and 1,900 units in Canada will also be recalled.
A report on Philly also mentioned the recall of Endura and Ambient LED dimmable light bulbs with model number 9290001829 due to a lead wire that has an improper fitting. This may electrify the entire lamp and cause a hazard.
About 99,000 units of this light bulb needs to be recalled, a source told Philly.
