Katie Price recently delivered a baby boy, who arrived two months earlier than the due date.
Price was suffering from a life-threatening infection and doctors had to conduct an emergency surgery to save the baby's life, Mirror reported. "I went through a nightmare. The baby's heart rate was also really low," she told the Mirror. "The next thing I know the nurse is in my room saying get ready now."
The baby boy named Jett Riviera, weighed 5 pounds and 2 ounces at birth. This is the 35-year-old reality TV star's first child with current husband Kieran Hayler. She already is a mother to two boys and a girl.
Due to the hospital rules Hayler could not witness the birth and the newborn was also reportedly shifted to intensive care immediately after birth. "It felt so unfair because Kieran and I didn't get that moment couples should share. But more importantly I didn't even know what my baby weighed or if he was OK," Price told Daily Mail.
The new mom's brother Danny Price thanked all well-wishers on behalf of Price, on Twitter.
"Many thanks for all your kind words of support and congratulations. Kieran and myself are so happy with our baby Jett," the tweet, read. "we look forward to coming home when allowed and introducing him to our families xx"
Hours later, the new mom herself came forward to share her happiness on Twitter: "Finally in a state to tweet thank you for everyone's amazing support and messages! I love @kieran0322 and our amazing baby boy jett," she wrote.
Apart from the new addition, Price's other children are: son Harvey (11) with former footballer Dwight Yorke and two children with ex-husband Peter Andre- Junior Sawa Andreas Andre (8) and daughter Princess Tiaamii Crystal Esther Andre (6).
Price tied the knot with builder Hayler in January 2013, only months after her break-up with model Leandro Penna.
