"Grimm Season 5" has surprises in store during this second half. "Gilmore Girls" actress Keiko Agena is slated to guest star for a special subplot. Also, Bitsie Tulloch is not done stirring the pot for "Grimm Season 5" suggesting that the Eve-loves-Nick subplot is still alive. The question remains, will all these goings on in "Grimm Season 5" be enough to bring in the ratings and keep NBC happy?
According to TVLine, Agena will appear in "Grimm Season 5" episode 17. Called "Inugami," the episode will take Agena into a mission of sorts over the tragic loss of her teen-aged son. Convinced that his death was no accident, Agena decides to find the proof to uncover the villains. She will appear alongside Cary Hiroyuki-Tagawa, who will play trial lawyer and family friend Takeshi Himura.
Meanwhile, two episodes in and already Bitsie Tulloch, who plays Juliette Silverton's alter-ego Eve is toying with fans, especially Team Adalind, to suggest that Eve may fall in love with Nick Burkhardt in "Grimm Season 5" or even further on. A turn of events that fans, in general, are worried about based on feedback from previous seasons that real-life pair Bitsie Tulloch and David Giuntoli have no on-screen chemistry.
Fashion & Style reports that Tulloch gave this hint during a recent Facebook Q&A with her fans. "Never say never," Tulloch said. "But for now it looks like because of the baby, he's staying with Adalind."
Tulloch also gave a brief description of how the plot will pan out. "Eve will eventually meet Kelly, although she hasn't yet," Tulloch stated. "Eve doesn't really have any associations to her past life as Juliette Silverton, so if she still cares about Nick, she's suppressing it in the interest of doing the best job for Hadrian's Wall."

"I know some people would like to see Eve/Juliette and Nick get married at some point," Tulloch added. "But so much has happened between them, it's a question of whether Nick could ever get over her involvement with his mother's death."
However, TV By The Numbers reports that the show may not even get past "Grimm Season 5." ""Grimm" is on its way to 100 episodes, a milestone it will pass in March," the agency wrote. It's looking a little less like it will get much past that."
TV By The Numbers explains that "Grimm" is not expected to hit the same numbers as shows that air at primetime, but "Grimm Season 5" is just not delivering as well as expected. "A Friday show doesn't need the numbers of a show that airs on earlier in the week to survive," the agency explained. "But "Grimm" has been sub-1.0 for five of its seven episodes so far this season. That's cause for concern, even on Friday."
