MacBook Pro 2016 News And Update: The Device Will Be Announced In March And Will Feature A Skylake Chip

This year Apple is prepping for one of the biggest events in March, hosted in San Francisco, California. Reports suggest that the high-tech company will unveil several new devices and among them will be the MacBook Pro 2016.

While Apple's 2015 MacBook featured a Haswell chip, MacBook Pro 2016 is a laptop powered with Skylake chips. This is an important step forward since the 6th generation Core processor comes with some revolutionary features. According to The Christian Post, the new processor is faster than other high-end chips on the market and it will also help extending the laptop's battery life.

Skylake has also the ability to maintain cool much better compared to older chips in the market. Users will not have to worry anymore about overheating and the processor won't really need coolers or laptop fans. The Skylake chip could make a difference for consumers who need laptops that could regulate core temperatures. It will also mean a boost in performance and processing power.

The upcoming MacBook Pro will come with a thin built and a slimmer frame that will make it lighter than the MacBook Air. In order to promote a slimmer frame Apple may eradicate some USB ports and there will be fewer ports to connect other devices.

A report published by Digital Trends claims that the new MacBook Pro lineup may come with OLED displays that provide higher pixel resolution. This is good news for consumers who need laptops with more than the usual 1080p displays.

It is expected that Apple MacBook Pro 2016 line will come with a 12-inch display. According to reports, the company will start producing the new range of laptops in Q1 or Q2, at the latest.

Besides the MacBook Pro 2016, the high-tech giant is expected to unveil other electronic devices at the event in March. Among them are the Apple Watch, iPad Air 3 and iPhone 5se.
