Angelina Jolie was known to be a rebel at heart in her early days in the Hollywood scene; she even played one of the most riveting characters in film on the movie "Girl Interrupted", which got her to win her first Academy Award. Now that she has grown older, the 40-year-old actress and director have been concentrating on her new film, which is set in Cambodia.
Jolie is also no stranger to tattoos; she has a record of 17 tattoos including one on her forearm, which she got just last year. Now, photos of the beautiful Jolie on set for her new film "First They Killed My Father" in Cambodia were published and it showed the actress sporting three massive tattoos on her back.
The tattoos are similar to the one she got a long time ago when Jolie adopted her son Maddox, the yantra or say yant style tattoo is beautifully placed on her back. The tattoo is confirmed to be a Buddhist blessing for peace, love and a prosperous life.
Many of Jolie's tattoos reflect a moment in her life, from her marriage to Billy Bob Thorton to the Bengal Tiger on her lower back, which she got when she became a Cambodian citizen back in 2004. Jolie's husband as well sports numerous tattoo, one on his forearm is dedicated to Angelina Jolie and to their kids.
As of now, Jolie is busy with filming "First They Killed My Father" and together on set with her are her children. Pax, Jolies adopted son, is helping her out with some set photography because "the whole movie is from a child's point of view."
Jolie also revealed in an interview back in 2014 how her children are already interested in tattoos and has asked her a lot about it. "They're already asking me about tattoos," Jolie told Radio Times in 2014. "How do I say 'No'? It's especially hard for dads and girls. For some reason men get a little more sensitive when the daughter gets a tattoo. And Brad thinks the girls can do no wrong. He's mush in their hands!"
