George Clooney and wife Amal Alamuddin just recently celebrated their first year as husband and wife. While everything seems to be new for the married couple, tabloids have been very interested about their future plans.
Rumors about Amal's pregnancy have been circulating like wildfire online. Many are claiming that she could be expecting, while some hint that she has been having problems getting pregnant. A particular rumor, however, claimed that the Clooneys are looking at adoption as a possible option.
In a report, Celeb Dirty Laundry claimed that the combination of George's age and Amal's overall well-being are hindering them from having a baby. To make things worse, the couple has allegedly visited top fertility clinics and IVF treatment centers in the world to help them with their problem. This reportedly was the reason why the actor and the barrister are considering adoption instead.
"George Clooney and his wife Amal Alamuddin are ready to start a family, and are considering adoption," VCPost reported. "The couple feels that the only thing missing in their marriage is having a child."
"George has already spoken to close friend Brad Pitt, and is hoping the he and wife Angelina Jolie will be able to help him and Amal when the right time comes," the article continued.
While the rumors remain unconfirmed, the couple did break their silence regarding the pregnancy rumors. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight for his new movie "Hail, Caesar!" George gave a straightforward answer when asked if they were expecting,
"No," he said. "But I like that you started that rumor," he continued.
