Beyonce is one of the biggest icons in the music industry and her name is renowned all around the world. So, it was no question that she was once again invited to play for this years' Super Bowl halftime show, together with Bruno Mars and Coldplay.
Beyonce debut her new song called "Formation," which took the whole internet by storm and of which the internet could not get enough of. The whole Super Bowl halftime show was trending on many news and social media sites.
So, when actress and host Raven-Simone commented about Beyonce's performance, fans of Beyonce did not take it too lightly. According to Raven-Simone, she missed the "old" Beyonce, the one who sing ballads in dresses during "The View," a show where she hosts.
"The new video from Beyoncé is hilarious and amazing, and all the Beyhives will be coming for me, but I miss Beyoncé singing a ballad in a dress," she said on "The View." "I miss that girl singing. I've seen you dance. I miss you. Where's the 'Me, Myself and I?'
Beyonce's fans were not too happy about Raven-Symone's comment and immediately went on to Twitter and attack Symone. Some of the comments set out to Symone was saying that she disregarded the whole message of Beyonce's song.
"So Raven-Symoné totally disregarded the message of Beyoncé's new song and had the nerve to say she misses her singing and in a gown," someone wrote. "Raven-Symoné prefers the old Beyoncé just like how we prefer the old Raven-Symoné that we use for all of those memes," wrote another.
Although it is pretty sure that Raven-Symone was not trying to hurt anyone with her comment, after all she is one of the hosts of "The View", which is a show about voicing out one's opinion on stuff. There is no news about Symone retaliating as of yet.
