Nick Lachey shares about having a daddy's girl in daughter Brooklyn with wife Vanessa Minnillo. The celebrity couple also has an older son named Camden who is extremely protective of his sister.
"She's becoming more of a daddy's girl, which I obviously love. She's such a happy, happy kid and just a lot of fun," Lachey said exclusively to Us Magazine. The singer also said his daughter's teeth are all coming in and she is standing and almost walking.
"It's almost like clockwork. When they turn 1, this personality starts to happen," said Lachey. Lachey welcomed their baby girl with wife Minnillo in January 2015.
Minnillo shared in her blog her excitement about welcoming the newest addition to their family. She also revealed the baby's name and several other details about the birth.
"I have been dreaming of this moment for as long as I can remember, the day I was going to meet my little girl," wrote Minnillo in her blog. She also shared how her friend said how magical meeting her best friend would be and how amazing it felt to hold her daughter in her arms for the first time, as cited by Inquisitr.
Little Brooklyn has an older brother named Camden who is 3 years old. The couple married in July 2011.
"Camden and I basically beat the crap out of each other and wrestle. It's our guy thing," Lachey said. The comment comes after the singer explains how different his relationship is with her daughter.
Lachey shares that Camden is a good and protective older brother. If there is a situation where he thinks his sister would be in trouble, he will go and make sure his dad is aware of it.
While Lachey seems to be in love with his two children, it does not mean that he is ready to add another to their growing family. "I'm pretty happy with two, it feels like God has smiled upon me," he shared.
Similarly, Lachey is as grateful for his longtime partner, whom he describes is an incredible mother. Despite their schedules being extremely hectic, they still find time to go on day dates.
Meanwhile, Minnillo was recently cast in the lead role of a new NBC sitcom entitled "People Are Talking." The actress plays the wife of the character of "Saved by the Bell" actor Mark Paul-Gosselaar.
