MacBook Pro, Air 2016 Release Dates: Experts Say Release is After March, Touch Screen Feature NOT Happening

Tech savvy fans are now waiting for the release of MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 as there are hearsays that the two flagship device will be dropped on the first quarter of the year. However, Apple is keeping its silence regarding the release date as they are not confirming anything yet.

It has been said that Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is said to be out in June following the release of Apple MacBook Air 2016 in March, according to Yibada. In fact, there are swirling rumors that Apple is planning to place a "stand-alone" assembly in the last month of the first quarter to introduce its latest gadgets.

However, it was noted that the multinational technology company will focus all their attention to the new Apple Watch, iPad Air 3 and the smaller iPhone. It was also said that a new lineup of MacBook Air is already confirmed, but it will not be out until later this year.

The site added that MacBook Air will have three new products in the line and the much-awaited new version of MacBook Pro, which still carries its 2012 design. An insider said that the upcoming laptops vary in sizes, like 12-inch, which might not be part of the Macbook Air family, 13-inch and 15-inch models.

Also, MacBook Air might carry a thinner frame and retina display and may be powered by Intel Broadwell or Skylake processor and a USB-C port. MacBook Pro 2016, on the other hand, is expected to have TouchScreen feature and Skylake chips.

But, Inquisitr contradicted the report and added that Apple is not looking forward to touchscreen laptops as their units alone has touchpad that "provides all the experience your fingers need." However, Apple might change their mind as they saw how Windows 10 touchscreen laptops are a sought after in the market.
