The cast of "Sons of Anarchy" are set to reunite for the Memorial Day weekend in May. Will FX take advantage of this event to ultimately announce the return of Charlie Hunnam and Brad Pitt's possible participation in the prequel?
The "SoA" cast will be having a reunion during the Memorial Day weekend, which will be held from May 27 to May 29 in Houston, Texas, Youth Health Magazine reported.
Attending in the said event are Ron Perlman, Tommy Flanagan, Ryan Hurst, Rusty Coones, Mark Boone Jr. and Emilio Rivera. Additional cast members are expected to join the event.
Fans began to speculate that FX will take advantage of this event to promote the upcoming "Sons of Anarchy" prequel and spinoff. Fans also began to wonder if Charlie Hunnam will be back on the series and if rumors surrounding Brad Pitt's participation in the upcoming show as John Teller are true.
"Sons of Anarchy" is one of the highest rated series to ever brave the network. The series ended in 2014 after airing seven seasons on TV, which ultimately showed Jackson 'Jax' Teller's death (Charlie Hunnam), Den of Geek reported.
The "SoA" spinoff will reportedly revolve around the story of the Mayans motorcycle crew.
In an earlier interview, Hunnam admitted that he and FX series creator Kurt Sutter were in talks of working on the prequel together.
"It's something that we have interest in," he said. "We are interested. I think the timing of it really depends on what unfolds."
The 35-year-old actor, however, expressed doubts over his reprisal of his role as the iconic bad boy biker, Jax Teller.
"I'm not sure when it would happen though. I don't know if he [Sutter] needs me as a lead actor on that too," he added in a separate interview.
