"General Hospital" director Nathan Varni has revealed via a private message on his Facebook account that the network is currently negotiating their contract with actress Rebecca Herbst, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
"well it would be a shame to punish US when it would be her choice in the end - we've done everything possible to entice her to stay and now it is Becky's final decision. I would hope the fans of GH would be more mature to stick with us if a certain actor or actress leaves," he said.
This statement is reportedly in response to a question surrounding Herbst's possible departure from GH and fans' threats to stop watching the show is Herbst ultimately leaves the series for good.
Varni, however, revealed that the post was not from him and stated that his account was hacked.
Some fans took their sentiments on the article's comments section and some of the users expressed that Herbst is not their reason for watching the series, and therefore, would not stop watching because one actress leaves.
Others, however, felt that Varni is the only one who should be leaving the series, and not Herbst or any other actor or actress for that matter.
Meanwhile, GH spoilers on Monday, Feb. 15 from She Knows Soaps reveal that Jason will be receiving a disturbing call. Sam and Jason will also share some heated moments together.
Nikolas, on the other hand, will try to uncover more information about Hayden and her past. Maxie will try to help Lulu and Dante get over their issues from the past, but Maxie will also get a surprise of her own from Nathan.
