MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date, Specs, Price & Update: Launching Date Announced; Touch-Screen Feature Not Happening

It has been said that Apple is going to hold an event on March 15 and set to release their gadgets, like Apple watches, iPad 3 and the new line of iPhone. And aside from the said devices, fans are also waiting for the launch of MacBook Pro, which is also set to debut next month.

It has been said that Retina Macbook Pro is set to be released this 2016. In fact, it is one of the most anticipated laptop that has been waited by the tech-savvy fans.

It has been said that is powered by Skylake processor, which can make the device's battery last longer and improve it graphic capacities. According to Forbes, it might also carry a touch screen feature and the program director with IDS Ryan Reith revealed that it is "inevitable" to happen.

However, a source told Yibada, as published by Latin Post, that MacBook Pro 2016 is going to be available in the second quarter of the year. "Although the new MacBooks may be introduced during this year's WWDC in June, their launch dates will come in the later parts of the year," the insider said.

"Rumors indicate that the release dates will be distributed across Q3 and Q4 2016, with the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBooks following each other closely in the third quarter at the earliest," the source added. Meanwhile, it has been said that Apple is having a problem regarding their profit as they was only able to ship about 5.3 million MacBook laptops in the fourth quarter of 2015.

Hence, about seven percent of Apple's sales went down. The emergence of Windows 10 laptops are now dominating the market and the upcoming upgraded version of Macbook will put Apple back on track, Digitimes reported.

"Makers in the supply chain are expected to start producing new 12- and 13.3-inch MacBooks, the end of the first quarter or in early second quarter, and 15-inch models in the third quarter," they wrote. Evidently, Apple is trying their best to keep pace with other brands by introducing latest gadgets.
