Kit Harington's return as Jon Snow had been at the heart of the wait for "Game of Thrones Season 6." Thanks to the new "Game of Thrones Season 6" trailer, the wait may have ended sooner than expected. However, the bittersweet news of Jon Snow's fate in "Game of Thrones Season 6" may have overshadowed the fact that another major character may meet the end in the coming season.
According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the new "Game of Thrones" Season 6 trailer holds a few key details worth noting. In the Hall of Faces within the House of Black and White, the faces of the dead "Game of Thrones" characters are joined by surviving ones.
Robb Stark (Richard Madden), Catelyn Stark (Michelle Farley) and Ned Stark (Sean Bean), Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) and Jon Snow are among the faces of the dead shown in the Hall of Faces. "The long night is coming, and the dead come with it," Jon Snow's image said.
Puzzlingly, the faces of Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) also appear with the faces of the dead. Below their faces are the heads of Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).
Is "Game of Thrones" cleaning house at a record-breaking rate in Season 6? Given the show's record of killing off seemingly indispensable characters, fans are wary of this latest "Game of Thrones Season 6" trailer's images.

Forbes states that the image is a ploy to mislead fans away from the fact that Jon Snow is still alive. However, were Jon Snow to be proven truly dead, fans seem happy to see him at least as the Many-Faced God's disciple.
Unreality TV points out that at least one character is well and truly alive - for now. Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) will make a welcome return in "Game of Thrones Season 6" after a transformative process that required Bran Stark to be a no-show in Season 5.
"Game of Thrones Season 6" will premiere on April 24 on HBO.
