Pop singer Kevin Jonas is expecting a girl.
The proud dad-to-be broke the news on Twitter. "It's a girl!!!!! Thank you everyone!! She's sucking her thumb!" he wrote, after sharing an ultrasound image of the baby, with a pink bow drawn on it.
This is the first child of the 25-year-old musician-actor with wife Danielle. "A girl it feels so real!" the mom-to-be, wrote.
Members of the Jonas family literally competed to share their happiness for a baby girl coming into their family.
"After years of testosterone-Finally estrogen!! I am so blessed to have a granddaughter," Kevin's mom, Denise Jonas, wrote.
"It's a girl for our family! Congrats," Jonas Brothers (the official twitter page of pop rock band formed by brothers Joe, Nick and Kevin), tweeted.
"I'm go have a niece!" Kevin's youngest brother, Frankie Jonas (12), tweeted.
Kevin first met Danielle, a hairdresser on a family vacation in The Bahamas in 2007. The couple tied the knot in Dec. 2009 and announced pregnancy in July 2013.
In 2012, the couple that currently stars in their own E! TV series titled "Married to Jonas," revealed that they were experiencing high pressure from their families and close acquaintances to have a baby.
"People are like, 'All right guys, what's your plan? When are you going to have those grandkids?'" People magazine quoted Kevin from a clip from the couple's reality show, "I'm starting to feel that pressure a little bit."
Kevin and his younger brothers Joe and Nick have a pop rock band named "Jonas Brothers." The singer, who has also tried his hand at acting, appeared in People magazine's sexiest Men Alive list of 2008.
