Fergie and Josh Duhamel are now proud parents of a baby boy.

The 38-year-old singer gave birth to 7-pound, 10-ounce son Axl Jack Duhamel on Thursday, their representative confirmed. The baby is the first child of Fergie and Josh.

The new father Wednesday confessed that the he is a "little bit terrified" of his impending fatherhood. "I've been lost in babydom all summer," he told Jay Leno on the Tonight Show. "It could literally happen at any minute. You know, I gotta tell you, I'm a little bit nervous. I thought that I was going to be good. I thought that I was ready for this, and I'm a little bit terrified. I'm excited and terrified, because I am responsible for this little thing. Forever.''

Fergie and Josh began dating in 2004, after they met at Duhamel's TV show 'Las Vegas' where the singer of the band Black Eyed Peas filmed a cameo for the show. They got engaged in December 2007 and married in 2009.

The 40-year-old also praised his wife for gracefully handling the first pregnancy. I'm mostly impressed with how gracefully...I mean she's just been awesome throughout this whole thing," he gushed on Aug. 15. "She's taken really good care of herself, she's happy, she's in great spirits, she looks beautiful and I'm just really proud of her more than anything. And I'm really excited to meet this little dude. I can't wait," he told Us Weekly.

In 2009, Fergie announced that she was a bisexual in 'The Sun.' She confirmed the news in an interview with 'The Advocate.'

Josh Duhamel achieved fame with the NBC TV series Las Vegas where he played Danny McCoy. He was also a part of the Transformer tri-series
