KIDSPOT compiled a list of the most fun activities and games you can play with your toddlers. These activities are very easy and simple to do.
1. Paper bag puppets
This activity involves transforming ordinary paper bags into simple puppets that kids can play with. You can get creative with your toddlers by putting unique decorations and features on the puppet or try to make the puppet look like a famous person or character.
2. Indoor mini basketball
Basketball is one of the most loved sports in the world. You can use a rolled-up ball of newspaper as your basketball and use a bucket or bin as your basket. This is ideal for developing the eye and hand coordination of toddlers.
3. Leaping frog
This activity will require a bit of imagination. The objective of this activity is for the toddler to imitate a frog by leaping from one lily pad to another. You can place very thick cushions on different spots of the room to represent the lily pads that your toddler would have to leap from and land on.
4. Cardboard car
Toddlers love playing with cars! You can make your own car by turning a simple cardboard box into a toy car. Use an action figure or stuffed toy as the passenger of the cardboard car.
5. Fun with balloons
"All you need is a couple of balloons, then get your toddler to bounce, throw, hit the balloon across the room without it hitting the ground," the article shared. "Fun and great for hand/eye coordination."
6. Hidden treasure
Your toddler can play as a little "Indiana Jones" with this activity. Hide some "treasure" such as candies or toys around the room and let your toddler find them all. You can also leave some simple clues to help the toddler out.
7. Table tent
It is very fun for kids to build their own space inside the house. You can help your toddlers create their own campsite under a large table. You can even help them place some decorations inside.
8. Labelling items
PARENTS shared one of the most fun and educational activities for toddlers which can help them learn the different household items. "Pick just one or two items to label in your house, such as the refrigerator, windows, and chairs, and rotate the labeled objects every few months," the article explained.
