Tris was in a battle to save the world as seen on the last official trailer of "The Divergent Series: Allegiant." The teaser was one-minute long that gave fans a glimpse of the war outside the Chicago walls.
"Everybody's worth saving," the lead protagonist of Veronica Roth's series said in the video. However, her counterpart, David, contradicted her by saying that she's the "only one worth saving."
"You are a miracle. You're genetically pure. The rest are damaged," the character of Jeff Daniel said. According to Indie Wire, the official synopsis of the novel adapted film took Tris and Four "into a new world, which was far more dangerous than before."
After everyone was surprised with the revelations of "Insurgent," the two main stars should escape the closing wall of Chicago. In fact, this would be the first time that they will leave the only city and family they knew.
Hence, this would lead them to old discoveries and shocking revelations of the new reality. Also, Tris and Four should be very careful with who they trust as they will face an epic battle that can destroy the humanity.
"In order to survive, Tris will be forced to make impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love," the plot story ended. Furthermore, a new poster for the science fiction adventure film was recently launched on Just Jared.
It showed the two personas of Tris that signified the battle she would go through on the upcoming third installment. The "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Naomi Watts, Octavia Spencer, Ray Stevenson, Zoe Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Jeff Daniels and Kate Winslet.
The movie is set to be released on March 18. Meanwhile, it has been said that Robert Schwentke won't direct the final installment of the "Divergent" series, The Hollywood Reporter added.
The German film director wanted to take a break from shooting "Divergent" and "Insurgent" back to back. The last installment, "The Divergent Series: Ascendant," is set to hit the theaters on June 9, 2017.
