The number one parental control app called OurPact is officially available for Android users on Feb. 16 as announced during a press release in San Diego, California.
PR News Wire reported that the hit iOS parental control app could now be used by parents to make sure that their kids are only browsing on appropriate contents when they are using their Android smartphones.
This app is free and parents could manage their children's phones remotely. They could change the settings of their kids' phones whenever they browse the Internet and whenever they access any third party app.
Among the features of OurPact is that parents could actually have an access to the screen of their child's Android device. They have the power to change those settings whenever and wherever they are -- even without physically having the access to their child's phone.
This app used to be exclusively released via iOS, but not anymore since the company that is working behind OurPact, ParentsWare, decided to expand its service to Android users. Starting today, this app is not just available on iPads, iPod Touches and iPhones, but also in all Android mobile devices. Smartphone users could now benefit from and enjoy its features.
The company's Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Edward Hunter, shared that their making the app available for Android is a good marketing move. "We saw a gap in the iOS parental control space -- no solutions were able to conform the available technology to the family environment. We decided to approach the solution from a different angle, and the result is a reliable, user-friendly and scalable product," he explained.
He also knew that this move is going to be even bigger for the company since he saw the huge success it made when it was just on iOS. For those who want to experience the app, you can check out the company's official website.
