Apple MacBook Pro 2016, Macbook Air 2016 Release Date, Specs, Price & Update: To Be Launched In June, Battery To Last Up To 12 Hours?

The release date of Apple's Macbook Pro and Macbook Air 2016 has been unveiled to be in June, at the WWDC event.

Know Your Mobile reports that the Cupertino-based tech company might come at the WWDC even in June with some fixes on the identity and nomenclature of its Macbook product line. But, what's even more important is the fact that Apple will release the new Macbook Air and the Macbook Pro during the same event in June.

On the 2016 versions, the Macbook Pro seems to be thinner than the Macbook Air. It is also possible that the new 13 and 15-inch Macbook Air 2016 laptops may drop the "Air" in the name.

One of the important improvements in Apple's Macbook Air 2016 specifications is the battery life that can power the phone for up to 12 hours. On Apple's official website, the company explains that the 11-inch model could work for at least nine hours on a single charge while the 13-inch model could last for up to 12 hours. The Power Nap feature will allow Macbook Air laptops to receive new invitations and e-mails while asleep.

Fifth-generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors will power the Macbook Air 2016, along with the Intel HD Graphics 6000 processor. According to MobiPicker, the Macbook Air 2016 line of Apple laptops is expected to consume less power and deliver optimum performance with these high-performing processors.

Apple's Macbook Air will feature the 802.11 ac Wi-Fi in order to boost its online features and performance. The device's wireless performance is set to be a tripled power of the 802.11 n Wi-Fi when being connected to an 802.11 ac base, with the AirPort Time Capsule and the AirPort extreme. The Macbook Air also features Thunderbolt and USB 3, all-flash storage, display camera and mic, backlit keyboard and multi-touch trackpad. The expected price of the Macbook Air is $899 and above.
