Hundreds of families, friends and supporters were surrounded Zachary Reyna's grave, according to the News Press.
His friends from his baseball team carried his casket from the hearse while wearing their jerseys.
Zac's family and loved one cried, sung, hugged and watched on as the boy's family threw dirt over his casket. They said prayers and scriptures and a lot of people were reluctant to leave.
According to the report, lines of card followed Zac from LaBelle Middle School across town to Fort Denaud cemetery.
Zac Reyna passed away last week after almost a month-long battle with a brain-eating amoeba.
The boy got an infection while knee-boarding in a ditch near his home on August 4.
His entire town wore t-shirts and awaited for good news as the 12-year old boy fought for his life.
Reyna was kept alive by a ventilator until Monday night when his family decided to donate his organs to save other people's lives.
Media outlets was not allowed to join in the private service but was allowed to join by the time the public service opened.
"He's truly touched us all," Danny Reyna, Zac's father said.
