The Impact Of Your Pets In Your Love Life; Know How Your Pets Can Make You Fall In Love

A new study released by Penn Schoen Berland on Feb. 17 showed that owning pets has a huge effect on a person's love life. Apparently, owning a dog, a cat, fish or any animals could increase the possibility of an individual to find a romantic partner.

According to Bustle, the independent research company had 1,200 people participated in their study and 882 of them are pet owners in New York and California. They were asked 50 questions regarding their routine, opinions and stand about pets and its link to dating and the results are quite shocking.

In an article published by Cosmopolitan U.K. Edition, a company named PetsPyjamas.com conducted a survey and found out that one in five people who owns a dog has met someone and had the courage to ask them out for a date while they were just walking around with their pet. It is almost as if their dog has found them their soul mate!

Also based on the company's survey, they found that 11% of dog owners had the chance of meeting their partner simply by opening up a conversation regarding their furry little animals.

Bustle even made a list of the many reasons why owning a pet is effective for individuals who don't want to stay single for the rest of their lives. Among these reasons is the fact that pets could easily break the ice to start up a conversation with a complete stranger. Usually, the first small talk is the hardest part to achieve.

It is difficult because the fear of saying the wrong things and making the whole experience awkward could come to mind when you first meet someone. But don't worry because that huge barrier is easily broken when you own a pet. Aside from that, pet owners are also easily viewed as likeable individuals.

So, don't lose hope in finding that special someone in your life. Try walking your dog today in the park because who knows, you just might meet "the one."
