No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani opened up on Feb. 17 on a radio show about her dating life -- revealing that country singer Blake Shelton is only her second boyfriend ever since she learned about dating.
It was during a radio interview on K-Earth 101 FM that the former "The Voice" coach shared she only had two boyfriends in her lifetime and Shelton is now the second. Her first ever boyfriend was her bandmate Tony Kanal, but it didn't work out for the two of them after seven years of dating, so she ended up marrying singer Gavin Rossdale.
Upon E! Online's analysis, technically Rossdale has to count as Stefani's boyfriend, but everyone would all just assume that she considered him more as an ex-husband than an ex-boyfriend given that they were married for 13 years. And unfortunately, that too didn't work out that they ended the whole thing with a divorce.
But this just proves that not all rock stars are serial daters. In fact, based on the length of time that Stefani was involved with her exes, it would show how serious she was in her relationship when she was with them. The singer also told the radio show she doesn't exactly have a type when it comes to men.
And once again, just by looking at those three guys she was and is involved with -- being able to easily tell that they were all different. Judging by the genre of the music they release alone, from punk rock, pop rock to country and many others, Stefani indeed was telling the truth when she said she doesn't have a type.
Stefani is open to the public when it comes to her relationship with Shelton that she even confirmed the song "Make Me Like You" was written for him.
