Things definitely ended well for both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson despite their nasty breakup in 2013 following the actress' cheating scandal with director Rupert Sanders. In an earlier interview, Pattinson admitted that he does not regret anything that happened in the past.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will forever be marked in the hearts of Twihard fans as Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. Fans continue to hope that the former couple will at least reunite in front of the cameras, if not in real life.
However, it looks like a reunion is highly unlikely to happen for Stewart and Pattinson. In an earlier interview, Pattinson admitted that he no longer wanted to talk about anything related to Stewart.
"The hardest part was talking about it afterwards. Because when you talk about other people, it affects them in ways you can't predict," Pattinson said about his ex-girlfriend, Stewart, according to Youth Health Mag.
The publication also noted that Pattinson has seemingly moved on from his past relationship and forgave the "Equals" actress for cheating on him with Rupert Sanders in 2012.
"Sh*t happens, you know? It's just young people... it's normal! And honestly, who gives a sh*t?" he said.
The outlet further noted that Stewart's cheating scandal may have been initially difficult and painful for all the parties involved, but there's definitely something good that happened after that.
Sanders' ex wife, Liberty Ross recently tied the knot with Jimmy Iovine after getting engaged in 2015. Pattinson is also currently engaged to FKA Twigs and the couple is rumored to tie the knot this 2016.
As for Stewart, however, it seems like the 25-year-old actress is focused on her career. The actress recently told E! News that she hopes to take a break after doing consecutive projects.
"I just worked all year on a bunch of different things. So right now I really don't want to work for quite a long time," Stewart said. "I really really tired myself out. I need a break."
