Whoever heard of 19-year old aspiring singer Raemarni Ball from Dudley? Probably not many, except for her 37,000 followers on Twitter and on other social media platforms. But the once not so popular shop girl was brought to international fame when 38-year old multi-millionaire boxer Floyd Mayweather whisked her from the West Midlands to his £40million private jet.
According to Mirror, Rmarni works in New Look, lives in a modest area in the West Midlands where houses can be bought at a price of £70,000, which is only one-tenth of a single bet that Mayweather makes.
An account by Birmingham Mail stated that the boxer and the shop girl met at Premier Suite in Cannock. Rmarni paid £600 to get a VIP ticket to meet the famous boxer. The boxer must have been smitten by her that subsequent pictures showed Rmarni jumping in to a white Rolls Royce with Mayweather, which brought them to the Midlands event.
It didn't end there though, days later she went to Amsterdam for the sole purpose of meeting the boxer again. And, the latest addition to their escapades is Rmarni being with Mayweather on his private jet, jumping from one location to another all over the United States. Relissa Ricketts, Rmarni's sister is said to be accompanying the teenager in her U.S. adventure.
One friend of Rmarni described her Mayweather adventure as "phenomenal." He also mentioned that, "They're having fun."
Various photos of Rmarni have been circulating. One depicts the girl standing, wearing a black lace body hugging figure dress, and where Mayweather was draping his arm over her. In another picture, she was wearing a jacket, curled up on the leather seat of Mayweather's luxurious jet.
In one Instagram post, Rmarni said, "Floyd Mayweather made me and my family feel so comfortable. Thank you." She also posted a video where she revealed that she would be flying from New York then to Las Vegas, all courtesy of Mayweather.
For now, many would be following the adventures of Ellis Rmarni and Floyd Mayweather. Will this be a Cinderella story that will result to a happy ever after?
