Actress Scarlett Johansson is engaged to journalist boyfriend Romain Dauric, multiple reports confirm.
"They're engaged and very happy," a source told People magazine. Scarlett's rep confirmed the news saying that the couple was engaged but had not yet decided on the marriage date.
People reported that Scarlett and Romain got engaged a month back. The 28-year-old actress was spotted wearing a lovely vintage Art Deco style ring on numerous occasions that sparked media speculation over her engagement.
Recently, while promoting her movie 'Under the Skin' at the Venice International Film Festival, she was seen flaunting her diamond ring.
Romain's name is not familiar in the Hollywood circles. He is a French journalist and according to Just Jared, he was previously the editor of French magazine 'Clark,' that features mostly urban art.
Known to be secretive about her personal life, Scarlett once said, "It's nice to have everybody not know your business." She was also married to actor Ryan Reynolds for two years. They began dating in 2007 and announced their engagement in May 2008. They married in September 2008 in a private ceremony. However, in December 2010, the couple announced their separation and their divorce was finalized in July 2011.
Last year, in an interview with Vogue magazine, the sexy actress said that their divorce was "comically amicable." Although it did not mean that the divorce made her happy. "Of course it's horrible," she said. "It was devastating. It really throws you. You think that your life is going to be one way, and then, for various reasons or whatever, it doesn't work out."
Scarlett also got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 2, 2012.
