'GTA 6' News & Updates: Ability To Teleport, Bigger Map And Female Lead Character

Fans of the "Grand Theft Auto" game franchise eagerly await the release of the highly anticipated "Grand Theft Auto 6." The recent "GTA 6" news coming from the developer company Rockstar is causing overexcitement and frenzy among the fans.

Some rumors claim that the next "GTA" installment will not be released until 2018, according to Neurogadget. However, a preview of the features that are expected to be included in the game make devoted fans excited and certain that it is well worth the waiting. If "GTA 6" will arrive only in 2018, this would be five years later after the release of GTA 5. This gives developer company Rockstar plenty of time to develop the next installment.

There are rumors claiming that the famous actor Ryan Gosling well-known from the "The Ides of March," "The Notebook" and "Young Hercules" TV series will borrow his voice to the main character in "GTA 6." Eva Mendes, Gosling's partner in real life, is rumored to be the first female protagonist. The co-author of almost all of the titles in the "GTA" series, Dan Houser, declared that a game with a lead female character is possible in the future.

According to N4BB, the previous installments of "GTA" online have allowed users to play as a female character. However, if the users choose to play in story mode, they are required to take the role of a male character. If the rumors are true, then "GTA 6" would be the first Rockstar's installment to include a female protagonist.

Another exciting new feature in the upcoming "GTA 6" could be the possibility that users teleport from one place to another. If this rumor is proved to be true, analysts believe that it is likely the teleportation to be featured will be similar to that in the "Need for Speed" 2015. A bigger map is also rumored to appear in "GTA 6," giving gamers more areas to explore. With a bigger map it certainly comes more excitement as well.
