What's new on McDonald's menu? They are actually testing out a new breakfast sandwich called Chicken McGriddle in Central Ohio.
Eleven locations are putting fried chicken patty and a bun of pancake together as per E! Online. It is filled with maple syrup that makes the chicken sandwich tasty.
Also, other markets tried and have tested other versions of the product already. The idea came from Brian Mortellaro, who owned eight local McDonald's, according to reports.
But that's not the only one he got, he also has a group of taste-testers. Mortellaro told the site that Filet-o-fish and Big Mac are both started with owner-operators and as they got this idea, they also want other people to try it.
Montellaro even stated that the biggest chances for this product to bloom will be through customer surveys. The sandwich test can be continued around Central Ohio this year if people give a good feedback and if they would want to order it again.
He honestly has his own opinion and he loves the product. He hopes that it will do well as they analyze the output then.
Chicken McGriddle is being tested at two price range which is $1.49 and $2 as per Columbus Business. It can be purchased until the end of March only at selected restaurants.
The food chain is doing well at paying attention to both the customers and owner-operators about what the people want, Mortellaro added. According to him that's the reason why All Day Breakfast for Oak Brook, Ill was launched successfully.
As we recall, McDonald all-day breakfast menu was out in late 2015. Once again, the company revealed that the sales are up and they guarantee McDonald's lovers could grab their favorite breakfast order any time of the day and they hope that the Chicken McGriddle could meet the level of the list of all-day breakfast.
