Carrie Underwood stumbles and falls on stage during a performance while wearing a pair of stilettos, according to ABC News.
However, the singer-composer kept her sense of humor intact after taking a tumble on stage mid-performance during a concert on Thursday night in Corpus Christi, Texas. She sent out a tweet afterwards saying, "Hey, remember the time in Corpus Christi when that girl busted her butt on stage?! Hilarious. Oh wait, that was me!"
The American Idol alum included a photo of her foot in a black brace while making light of her fall. "Good news, it's not broken and I got some new footwear", she tweeted. The 30-year old country music star was mid-song when one of her five-inch heels got caught on the tail of her flowing skirt and sent her tumbling onto her backside.
Underwood's fans praised her for finishing her performance. Her CMA awards co-host, Brad Paisley gave her some good-natured ribbing, posting an Instagram video of her fall on his Facebook page, along with, "The graceful, the nimble, the cat-like reflexes of Carrie Underwood."
Carrie Underwood responded to Paisley on Twitter saying "at least I was not drunk. You don't I don't drink on stage! I'm uncoordinated enough as it is."
