Ne-Yo Ties the Knot with Baby Mama Crystal Renay in Palos Verdes

Ne-Yo, aka Shaffer Chimere Smith, has happily tied the knot with his fiancée Crystal Renay. The celebrity couple exchange vows while standing on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

US Weekly reported that 150 guests were in attendance to witness the couple's seaside wedding. The R&B singer and the nine-month pregnant fashion model got married under a huge wooden altar embellished with immaculate white curtains and flowers.

Ne-Yo later revealed to People that he and Renay clicked right away back in late 2014. The lovers crossed paths while working on collaboration for the singer's 2015 album "Non-Fiction."

"We can't wait to start our life together. We're looking forward to just being each others' best friend," said the 36-year old recording artist. "I kind of knew right away. From that first encounter, I knew there was something different about her, something special."

Ne-Yo declared that his marriage to Renay will be the last time he ever ties the knot. It can be recalled that the singer already has two children, five-year old Madison Grace and 4-year-old Mason Evan, from his failed relationship with Monyetta Shaw.

"This is big for me. I'm not doing this again," he asserted. "We're human beings, so we're gonna bump heads on different things. But we've agreed that this is gonna be a marriage that lasts."

The couple had some tense feelings before the wedding as both were worried about Renay's baby bump hindering her movement. Ne-Yo laughed about the ordeal and said, "I'm more concerned about her making it all that way down that aisle or if the water breaks or something."

The ceremony turned out fine. Guests were treated to a scream of joy from the newlyweds after they had said their "I Dos." The wedding was then followed by a cocktail dinner and dance party.

Ne-Yo announced his engagement to Renay on Twitter last summer. He also shared a photo on Instagram showing him embracing his bride-to-be's baby bump.
