Several fans are now excited for the first sequel of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie. Now, new reports claimed that "Fifty Shades Darker" cast are currently in Paris, France to kick of the filming of the much-anticipated flick despite the terror attacks that occurred in November last year.

Both Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey) and Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) are reported to be spending several weeks in Paris to shoot the movie. As a matter of fact, The Hollywood Reporter shared that "Fifty Shades Darker" is only one of the movies that will be filming in the City of Love following Paris attacks that shook the world.

"It seems there is some sort of resilience among the film industry," Stephanie Martinet said of the films' contribution to the rebound of the movie industry in the chaos-stricken city. "Producers, in particular from the U.S., voiced their support to us after the attacks and reinforced their willingness to pursue their projects. They want to send a message."

Moreover, Martinet said that Parisians have been very supportive of the several movie shoots occurring within the city even after the filming were halted for a week for security and safety purposes. He noted that many were complaining about parking space shortage before the Paris attacks took place.

However, to date, there were no grumbles about parking and noise problems after the terror attack; no complaints were heard from locals and tourists alike. "Everybody wants to be a part of this and knows how important it is to the city to sustain our film industry," Martinet said.

Shooting of "Fifty Shades Darker" kicks off in Canada

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the several "Fifty Shades Darker" casts were sighted in Canada few weeks ago - to which many speculated that there is filming happening there. In fact, author E.L. James hyped several fans when she posted a snap of her arrival in Vacouver on her Instagram.

Captioned with "Hello Vancouver," James' photo featured the Vancouver skyline. Also, fans considered this as an affirmative signal that "Fifty Shades Darker" is indeed filming in the state.

Dakota, on the other hand, revealed that she is very excited for the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie. "I think it's going to be exciting and interesting to go back and develop characters further," she told Access Hollywood in an interview. "The story is sort of like a thriller now, and it gets kinda scary, and it's awesome."
