"Scandal" season 5 episode 12, called "Wild Card," is definitely full of drama - and heartbreak for fans of Olitz - as Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) keeps himself preoccupied with a new love interest while Cyrus (Jeff Perry) prepares for his big new plan.
Let's take a quick recap on episode 11 of "Scandal" season 5: Olivia (Kerry Washington) joined forces with Mellie (Bellamy Young) to prepare for the coming elections. Fitz was busy flirting with a reporter as well, while Cyrus resigned as Chief of Staff.
According to Christian Today, in this upcoming "Scandal" episode, fans will get to see Fitz continue to pursue the reporter, as Abby (Darby Stanchfield) gets frustrated with the new affair. Thinking that the relationship could blow up in the media, Abby tries to confront Fitz about the issue, only for her plan to backfire.
Cyrus, on the other hand, preferred to be preoccupied with something other than Fitz's personal interests and Abby's concern, as reported by Christian Post. As for Cyrus' plan, he's currently trying to team up with the Governor of Pennsylvania. Fans will have to wait and see the Governor's verdict until episode 12.
Olivia, on the other hand, is experiencing some trouble in paradise. Pope's relationship with Jake (Scott Foley) is turning rocky - as she continues to figure out if her new beau will do something unfavorable as the new head of the NSA.
