It was a long battle for Kesha and Dr. Luke as the singer was not granted by the court to be free of from her producer's contract. After a long silence, the 42-year-old fired back on a Twitter rant.
"Until now I haven't commented on the lawsuits, which should be resolved in court not here on Twitter," the guitarist shared on a number of tweets on the microblogging website. "It's a shame that there's so much speculation out there basing itself on so little information. The only truly objective person who knows the facts is the judge. The judge did not rule in Kesha's favor on Friday."
Dr. Luke was aware that the 28-year-old performer got many supporters as he himself has a "feminist mom." However, he said that her complaints were all baseless, according to The Washington Post
"I understand why people without all the information are speaking out," pertaining to Kesha's defenders. "I can appreciate their compassion. But lives can get ruined when there's a rush to judgment before all the facts come out. Look what happened at UVA, Duke etc. Of course, any sane person is against rape and sexual assault but everybody who is commenting is doing so without knowledge or facts. They are getting behind an allegation only - motivated by money."
Dr. Luke used his social media page to defend himself and deny all the allegations. "I didn't rape Kesha and I have never had sex with her. Kesha and I were friends for many years and she was like my little sister."
Meanwhile, it has been known that Kesha was accusing Dr. Luke of drugging and raping her, but under an oath, she renounced all the charges. TMZ reported that they had the part of the rapper's statement taken in 2011.
To recall, Kesha and Dr. Luke were both sued by a manager and she was questioned under a vow about the remarks of her mother against her producer. The video showed a very relaxed "Tik Tok" hitmaker denying all the accusations she's now using against Dr. Luke.
