'Red Dead Redemption 2' Release Date, News & Update: Game May Be Announced At E3 In June And Released In Q4 2016

It has been already six years since "Red Dead Redemption" was released and fans are still waiting for the launch of "Red Dead Redemption 2." Despite the fact that the developer company did not make an official announcement yet, many believe that the next iteration for the title will still be coming in 2016, probably in the fourth quarter. The latest rumors are pointing to an announcement of the "Red Dead Redemption 2" in June at the E3 event.

The distributor of the title, Take-Two Interactive, recently had a quarter earnings review, according to Master Herald. The company revealed their plans for this year and their position for the past year. In terms of financial standing, the company revealed that they did well last year. This is due especially thanks to the sales from "GTA Online" as well as "GTA V," even if the game title was released in the year 2013.

Take-Two Interactive plans to release high quality games this year, including "Battleborn," a new Triple-A title, the next "NBA 2K" series and "WWE 2K" "According to some reports, the game title "GTA 6" may be already under development.

However, there are slim chances to be released this year. In these circumstances, speculations point to "Red Dead Redemption 2" as possible being the Triple-A title announced by the company.

MNR Daily reported rumors that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be announced at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California, during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event from June 14 to 16. After the official announcement, the "Red Dead Redemption" may be released around the fourth quarter of 2016, perhaps in October.

Since Take-Two Interactive still did not make any official announcement of its plans, fans will still have to wait for a few months to find out if the rumors will proved to be true.
