Leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo Electronics has just revealed some major innovations that even Apple and Samsung can't compare to. At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Chinese tech company unveiled the SuperVOOC, a quick-charging technology.
Several Apple iPhone and Samsung smartphone users have always had one thing in common: battery and charging problems. While the two biggest smartphone manufacturers in the world struggle to resolve consumers' concerns, Oppo Electronics have taken matters into their own hands.
According to Albany Daily Star, Oppo claims that the Super VOOC quick-charging technology enables the smartphone "to charge an empty 2,500 mAh battery to 100% in just 15 minutes over MicroUSB and USB Type-C cables."
Most consumers would probably be wary of the new technology, given that fast-charging could be unsafe and could pose high dangers for the user.
But Oppo users won't need to worry about that: the technology uses "a low-voltage pulse charging algorithm and a custom 'super' 2,500mAh battery that regulates the electric current for a safe charging experience." Oppo Electronics currently has 18 patents pending for the SuperVOOC technology.
Another new innovative technology that Oppo Electronics revealed at the 2016 MWC is the SmartSensor, which "builds image stabilization into the camera sensor, instead of the usual lens-based method," reports CNET.
The SmartSensor will remove any blurs that are caused by shaky hands. Apparently, the sensor has a "voltage-driven microelectromechanical system" built into it to absorb any shocks. Oppo claims that the new technology is better and faster than similar lens-based cameras.
