'Vikings' Season 4 News & Update: How 'Taken' Star Clive Standen Will Be Eased Out Of 'Vikings,' Katheryn Winnick Thinks Power Is Beautiful [Spoilers]

The "Vikings Season 4" premiere was the perfect reminder of why are invested on Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel, "Warcraft"), Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick, "Geostorm"), Rollo (Clive Standen, "Patient Zero"), Bjorn Lothbrok (Alexander Ludwig, "The Hunger Games"), Princess Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland, "The Devil Wears Prada"). "A Good Treason" may still have fans reeling. Rollo in particular, left a gory taste in the mouth as the "Vikings Season 4" premiere closed.

In all, "Vikings" made a good season comeback. Reports, however, have been surfacing that the dynamics of the show will change drastically, especially beginning "Vikings Season 4." At the heart of this change is Ragnar's first wife, Lagertha. While "Vikings Season 4" sees Lagertha shine through as the story flows, the show may display lessening dependency on Ragnar. Followers are closely watching Lagertha, Bjorn, Aslaug and Rollo now to find the fulcrum that makes that shift.

Interestingly, Screen Rant reports that Rollo actor Clive Standen has actually signed up to take over for Liam Neeson in the TV version of the "Taken" franchise. Standen's TV version does not mean that "Taken" 4 is nowhere in the offing. Liam Neeson apparently is, in fact, okay to do a fourth instalment to "Taken." Clive Standen will help lay out the prequel treatment to "Taken," as the younger version of Liam Neeson's character. Standen's series will run under executive producers Luc Besson ( "Valérian and the City of a Thousand Planets") and Alexander Cary ("Homeland").

Deadline assures that Clive Standen's Rollo will not be killed off in "Vikings Season 4." More than likely Standen will only guest star with Rollo in the show by the time "Vikings Season 5" rolls in. On the upside, seeing Standen take his action and acting skills from playing Rollo when he stars in "Taken" as Bryan Mills should be interesting.

In the meantime, possible future "Vikings" central character Lagertha is more than ready to step into the heart of "Vikings Season 4." People reports that Katheryn Winnick, who plays Lagertha, is a lot like her character in real life.

"In the sense of determination and working hard and being able to defend yourself and having the knowledge you need to be able to get out of any situation," Winnick said. "With that comes an inner strength - how you deal with conflict. Her being so strong and being a force to be reckoned with comes from growing up as a shield maiden, and for me, growing up as a martial artist."

"You can be empowered and be a force to be reckoned with, and that is beautiful," Winnick added. True enough, "Vikings Season 4" lets Winnick and Lagertha's beauty shine well and true.

"Vikings Season 4" airs every at 10pm ET on The History Channel. Do you think Rollo will be missed in "Vikings?"
