Stainless Games has revealed that "Carmageddon: Max Damage" is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles sometime mid 2016. The release date will mark the debut of the game on these consoles.
Although "Carmageddon: Max Damage" has been updated to have new features, it still remains true to its core - a controversially violent gameplay that the game is known for since its original release in 1997.
According to Tech Times, "Carmageddon: Max Damage" on PS4 and Xbox One will feature over 30 cars, 10 environments. Moving targets can also be seem, such as pedestrians, scooters, cyclists, cheerleaders, bears and aliens.
"Moving targets of all ages, shapes and species make 'Carmageddon' an equal opportunities pedestrian slaughterfest," as stated on the video game's official website. "Enjoy granny mangling, nun chucking, beach babe bouncing... Plus peds in wheelchairs, on mobility scooters and bicycles... Bears, penguins, aliens and much much more!"
In addition, there are three game modes to choose from in the PS4: six different types of Career mode, Freeplay, and Multiplayer, as well as 90 various power-ups, as reported by Engadget.
Stainless Games seems to be facing a lot of pressure for the upcoming video game. The company's earlier revival of "Carmageddon" wasn't as successful as hoped - so "Max Damage" will definitely have to up the ante.
"Carmageddon: Max Damage" is also set to launch on PC. This version is available for free for users who have purchased "Carmageddon: Reincarnation" through Steam, or those who supported the game during its Kickstarter campaign.
